On 9 June 2025, during the Pentecost Salon, we can dance to live music C’est Picó Tango, which will play will play two sessions of about 30 minutes for us, the first session around 6.30pm, the second at 8pm. During the time the orchestra is not performing, we can dance to the beautiful tandas of Christoph Honecker.
It will be another unforgettable Pentecost Salon. Doors open at 5pm and we will dance on until the clock of 10pm.
The entrance fee is 15 Euros.
C’est Picó Tango is an electric guitar/voice and piano duo with a unique sound.
The mixture between these instruments seeks to emulate the essence of the great Orquestas Milongueras adapted to an original musical ensemble.
For more than 10 years, they have played together in different outstanding groups in the cultural circuit of Buenos Aires. They are creative members of the Sexteto Fantasma, with which they made five European tours. Their repertoire includes the “clásicos bailables” – dance classics – (De Angelis, D’Arienzo, Pugliese, Di Sarli), Waltzes, Milongas, new Tangos, and Argentinian Folk Music. Many of their own compositions are interpreted by other tango
groups, representing a new cultural heritage of the 21st century Tango.
C’est Picó Tango consists of:
Ezequiel Agüero – Musician – Pianist, bassist and double bassist.
He graduated from the Avellaneda Popular Music School. He works as a session musician and participates in groups from Buenos Aires culture such as Sexteto Fantasma (Tango group with which he did 5 European tours), Fusión Austral (Folklore), Concolo (Afro-Peruvian music), Las Cruzes del Plata (Folklore ), among others.
Guido Iacopetti – Guitarist, singer, arranger, producer, composer and lyricist of Argentine music.
He is a musician from Buenos Aires, Argentina, recognised for his creativity and unique sound in different musical genres. Guido is one of the most recognised authors of the new tango and his most characteristic work is ‘Felicidad’, one of the most recorded tangos of the 21st century. He is also one of the most versatile guitarists of his generation. He directs, plays, produces and writes for Sexteto Fantasma Tango, one of the most influential orchestras of new Argentine tango for more than a decade.
