On 27 September 2024, Joe Powers will have us dancing to 2 sessions of his harmonica Tango music during the Tango Café. But before that happens, he has set aside time to introduce us to a Tango workshop of his Musicality. Isabel Camano will assist him with this.
During this workshop, he will let us study the music of D’Agostino, D’Arienzo, Di Sarli and Troillo. This will include attention to:
Rhythm and melody
Marcato and Accents
Pulses
Phrases and
Melodic rests.
The workshop can be attended by dancers of all levels. A dance partner is not necessary.
The cost of the workshop is 5 euros per person.
The workshop starts at 7pm and lasts until 8.15pm. Afterwards, stay to enjoy afterward in the Tango Café.
