An unique opportunity to come and learn about the Tango style Canyengue on Friday, 13 September 2024. Just before he leaves for Argentina again, Marcelo will accompany our first steps Canyengue. As his normal dance partner is in Argentina, Christa will help him with this.
This workshop is open to dancers of any level of Canyengue, including beginners to learn the first steps and also to people with previous experience on this style of Tango
We will pay attention to the basics while learning new figures and steps.
According to time and experience, attention will be paid to:
– Canyengue. Embrace and posture.
– Dynamic of Canyengue
– Walking steps
– Enganche (Link step)
– Basic Figures: Punteado – Cruzado – Cruzado Doble – Ocho backwards & forwards – Americana – Caminada.
The workshop can be taken individually and costs 15 euros per person.
It’s a full programme, we’ll see how far we get, but make sure you’re there at 7 o’clock at least, as we desperately need our time.
