During our Easter Milonga on Boxing Day (10 April 2023), we welcomed the two musicians of Tango Cómodo.
Tango Cómodo consists of Dick Schievink (harmonica and vocals) and Hans Oerlemans (guitar and arrangements). As a duo, they have been playing together for about 5 years now with occasional performances at a salon (culminating in the TangoAlpin festival in St. Moritz). In 2020, they recorded an EP (Prólogo), now available to listen to on Spotify and AppleMusic. Playing danceable tangos as a duo is quite a challenge, but they succeed. Dick and Hans play mostly classical tangos, but sometimes make excursions to Piazzolla, Brahms or the Beatles (with tango sauce).
