Tipo Tango, a not for profit organization, was founded in 1999 to expand and deepen Argentine tango. Almost daily we offer tango dancing in the exquisite dance hall SCALA.
Tipo Tango exists of a number of enthusiastic tango dancers from Eindhoven and the surrounding area. A 3-person core takes care of the organizing – assisted by a circle of active dancers who help out during the activities: tangocafé, milongas, salons, workshops, courses, dance lab and the multiple-day 4D Tango around Ascension Day.
Several tango activities are a joint venture with Parktheater Eindhoven, Muziekgebouw Eindhoven, NatLab, De Catharinakerk, Hallo Cultuur, This is Eindhoven, etc.
